Recovering Pessimist is a podcast for people who struggle with negativity, cynicism, anxiety, and worst-case thinking—but don't relate to fake positivity. I've spent most of my life preparing for disappointment and calling it realism. This show is about learning to be hopeful again without denying reality. I'm not cured. I'm recovering. Each episode explores pessimism as a coping mechanism, identity before improvement, and what it means to stop bracing and start living honestly.Email: ****@recoveringpessimist.com more

Welcome friends, to a podcast for a darker timeline. Maybe the darkest of all timelines. Definitely not one of the good timelines. Maybe it's always been a dark timeline, maybe the Hadron collider screwed us over. Science may never know. What we do know is that we live in the void. The void, a place where a chittering mass of void crabs can infest a person suit and win the presidency. The void, a place where we're just clever enough to know that climate change is happening, but not quite clever enough to do anything about it. The void seems terrible and cruel, but it loves you, in its own ironic way. more

The old forms of the Left are moribund and the new forms are stupid. We're making a podcast that discusses the need to organize a Dialectical Pessimism and develop a salvage project capable of sparking a new workers' movement for socialism. A clean, honest, and unsentimental melancholy is required; we are cultivating one and would like to share it with you. 'The challenge of modernity is to live without illusions and without becoming disillusioned. I'm a pessimist because of intelligence, but an optimist because of will.' -- Antonio Gramsci ------- Visit the Regrettable Century's merch shop: https://theregrettablecentury.threadless.com/ more

The Exploring Antinatalism Podcast is the world's first podcast dedicated to the subject of Antinatalism, created by Antinatalists! Antinatalism, (Or Anti-Natalism.) Is defined by Wikipedia as, 'A philosophical position and social movement that assigns a negative value to birth.' The world of Antinatalism is very vast, and though most Antinatalists do share a kernel of the same core idea, what one Antinatalist believes from the next can be wildly different. What The Exploring Antinatalism Podcast seeks to showcase,  is a wide range of the various perspectives and ideas throughout Antinatalism as it exists today, through interviews with Antinatalist thinkers and creators of all kinds. Exploring Antinatalism was originally founded in early 2020 by various members of the now extinct, Rogue Philosophy: Antinatalism Discord, but soon grew away from being a team effort, to a mostly solo project run and hosted by long time Antinatalist content producer, Amanda 'Oldphan' Sukenick. (Foreverwolffilms on YouTube.), with the exception of sometimes host/co-host, Mark J. Maharaj (Question Mark? on YouTube). Thank you for listening to Exploring Antinatalism! more
