'ROD'S WORLD'Rodney Castillo, better known as Rod, was born and raised in Washington Heights, New York City. He broke into the club scene in early 2014 and caught the attention of many elite venues and the hottest parties, quickly getting recognized as one of the top DJs in NYC. Focusing mostly on hip-hop, he has become known for his large selection of genres and for his transitioning skills. Rod has performed alongside ASAP Ferg, Drake, DJ Khaled, The Les Twins, and many others.Growing up with an uncle who had a tremendous enthusiasm for music of all kinds, Rod started putting together blends with cassettes and thereby discovered his true passion for music.
