An explainer

A podcast database is a searchable index of every podcast - their hosts, contacts, audience, and metrics - built so PR and marketing teams can pitch the right shows at scale.

Traditional PR databases treat podcasts as a side category - a few thousand shows, often outdated, with limited audience data. That's fine for newspapers. It's a dead end for podcast outreach.

MillionPodcasts is podcast-first. We index 2.7M shows from every hosting platform on the web, verify host and producer contacts through automated checks plus direct outreach, and enrich every record with listener demographics, geographic distribution, sponsor history, and engagement metrics. Then we make the whole thing searchable on 18 filters - so a publicist looking for “B2B cybersecurity shows hosted by women in the Bay Area with 50K+ listeners” gets that list in a single query.

Search precision

Eighteen filters across
2.7 million shows.

Stack any combination - host gender, language, audience size, beats, network, and more. The more filters you add, the closer you get to a pitch-ready shortlist instead of a research project.

Listener demographics are how the best operators short-circuit pitching. Instead of pitching every “marketing” show, pitch the marketing shows whose audience skews to your buyer.

Inside every record

Everything you need to pitch.

Every podcast in the database comes with a verified contact card, audience metrics, and links to every platform - so you can qualify a show, pitch the right person, and reference recent episodes in one place.

01

Verified contacts - host, producer, booker

Most podcast databases scrape. We don't. Our in-house research team finds emails the way a publicist would - from podcast websites, About pages, and host social bios - sourcing only publicly available contacts. Every email then runs through SMTP verification, direct-outreach refresh, and user-feedback corrections. GDPR-compliant. 19K contacts updated in the last 90 days.

02

Audience signals - size, demographics, geography

Estimated monthly listeners (six bands from Nano to Celebrity), listener type personas, income bands, age generation, gender skew, and geographic distribution. Stop pitching shows whose audience doesn't match your client.

03

Engagement metrics - frequency, ratings, freshness

Latest episode date, episode count, average length, publishing frequency, Apple Podcasts rating, and review count. Filter out dead shows and ratecard inflation in a single click.

04

Platform links - Apple, Spotify, YouTube, website

One-click access to every place a show lives. Cross-reference Spotify exclusives (123K of them), YouTube video podcasts (130K), and shows on niche hosting platforms - all from one record.

Workflow

From query to outreach
in four steps.

Hours of manual research compress into a single afternoon. Plug exports straight into your CRM, mail-merge tool, or pitch tracker.

03 / Unlock

Unlock contacts

Reveal host, producer, and booker emails plus social profiles. Save shortlists into named campaign lists.

04 / Export

Export to CSV

Pick your columns, export to CSV or Excel, and drop straight into your CRM, mail-merge, or pitch tracker.

Who uses it

Three teams. One database.

Whether you're booking guests, pitching media, or hunting sponsors - the workflow is the same. The filters and fields adapt to your job.

  • Run sponsorship outreach at scale, not one DM at a time
Podcasters

Grow the show.

  • Find guest candidates by topic and profession
  • Discover similar shows for cross-promotion & co-host swaps

Questions

Frequently asked.

If something here isn't covered, our team replies inside 24 hours - usually faster.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.

How secure is my payment?

All payments are securely processed over HTTPS and your card information never touches our servers. All payment processing is done by our credit card processor, Stripe. When you enter the credit card details, they are sent directly to Stripe over SSL. Read more about Stripe's security policies on their site.

Can I get started for free?

Yes, you can get started with our 1-day free trial, which gives you access to a limited number of searches and a fixed number of search results, with no credit card required. However, email viewing and export features will be locked. After the trial ends, you'll need to upgrade your plan to access the full features.

How can I cancel my plan?

Cancel your plan anytime from your Account Settings. When you cancel, you'll still be able to use your plan until the end of your subscription period. After your paid subscription ends, you'll be switched to a free plan with free limited access.

How can I switch my plan?

Upgrade or downgrade your account anytime from your Account Settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades and cancellations become effective at the end of your current billing period.

How does the quota work?

Each time you click the "View Contact" button of any podcast, you have used one podcast credit from your quota.
(Suppose if you start with 500 podcast credits and view 100 unique podcast contacts, you will have 400 podcast credits remaining.)

Each time you export a list of podcasts, the number of podcast credits used will equal the number of podcasts in the list.
(Suppose if you export a list with 400 podcasts, 400 credits will be used.)

Is there a limit on the number of searches?

Yes, there is a limit on the number of searches. Search credits are provided monthly, and if you need additional searches within a particular month, you can upgrade your plan.

Repeating the same keyword search counts as a single search, and adjusting advanced search filters does not affect your search count.

Search credits reset on the same day of the month you were first billed.

How does quota work in monthly plan?

Each month, the selected monthly plan's podcast credits will be added to your account.

Unused podcast credits will carry over to the next month. (For Example: If you use only 1,000 of 2,000 credits in the Monthly Business Plan, the remaining 1,000 credits carry over, provided your account remains active.)

If your podcast credits are exhausted, you can upgrade to a new plan or switch to an annual plan. (For example, if you run out of credits on the Monthly Pro Plan, you can upgrade to the Yearly Pro Plan with 750 podcast credits/month or switch to the Monthly Business Plan with 2,000 podcast credits.)

How does quota work in yearly plan?

Each year, the selected plan's podcast credits are added to your account.

Unused podcast credits carry over to the next month. (Example: If you have the Yearly Plan with 10,000 credits/month and use only 9,000 credits, the remaining 1,000 credits will be added to the next month's 10,000 credits, giving you a total of 11,000 credits, provided your account remains active.)

If your podcast credits are exhausted, you can upgrade to a higher plan or switch to a different yearly plan. (Example: If you run out of credits on the Yearly Pro Plan, you can upgrade to the Yearly Business Plan with 10,000 credits/month or switch to another plan that suits your needs.)

Can I get invoices for my payments?

You can access your invoice from the “Billing” section in Account Settings.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation stops the auto-renewal of a MillionPodcasts subscription. Subscriptions are active until the end of the billing cycle. For instance, if you have paid for an annual subscription, it is active until the end of those 12 months. Cancellation does not delete your MillionPodcasts account, and you can re-subscribe any time. Please note all subscriptions are auto-renewed unless explicitly cancelled.

What will I get in the export? Can I see a sample export file?

You'll receive podcasts in an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file. We'll share the following data for each podcast:

  • Name and Email contact of the podcaster
  • Links, Title and description of each podcast
  • Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page link and its followers
  • Apple ratings
  • Review counts
  • Estimated monthly listeners
  • Category of podcast
  • Location

How many podcasts can I export?

The number of podcasts you can export depends on your plan and available credits. Each exported podcast uses one credit.

For example: With a Business Monthly Plan, you can export up to 5,000 podcasts each month. Suppose you exported 5,000 podcasts in the first month, you can export another 5,000 podcasts in the second month and so on.

With a Business Yearly Plan, you can export up to 60,000 podcasts in a year.

With a Business Plus Yearly Plan, you can export unlimited podcasts.

Is there a limit to how many podcasts I can add to a list?

You can add up to 10k podcasts in a list.
