SolarTrak aka Ian McGonagle. House MusicProducer, Remixer & Dj from Essex, England.Aliases: DJ Makka, HouseFly, FatFly, NUCL3U5Coming from a musical family background his dad was always a keen guitaristand his older brother was in many bands so at first Ian headed naturally in thedirection of band music learning to play the guitar from the early age of 12. Itwasn't until a few years later around the age of 18 when he met his first dj friendand decided he wanted to learn the art of dj'ing. After picking it up relativelyquickly he soon swapped his Fender Stratocaster guitar for his first set ofturntables. He started off buying some early 90's house records and quickly fell in love withthe new 2 step uk garage sound that was starting to evolve and here his first aliasDJ Makka was born. After mixing in his bedroom with friends it wasn't long before he was approachedthrough a friend by the boss of Essex Pirate radio station Force Fm and here hestarted his radio journey learning to host and dj his own weekly show.Coming from a musically creative background it was always inevitable thateventually Ian would turn his hand to producing and in 2004 he released his firstever vinyl release a UK Garage rework of a house classic Isha D - Stay. Having noreal contacts in the scene he released and distributed the track himself sellingover 700 copies. In 2010 after playing on various other pirate radio stations and clubs acrossLondon he returned to the station that it all started (Force Fm) but this time undernew alias HouseFly.After mixing and producing Uk Garage for 12 years he decided he wanted toreturn to where it all started with house music and started his new show on ForceFm playing Electro & Progressive house. In 2013 whilst dj'ing at The World Body Painting Festival with friends, his soundwas to evolve yet again. After doing some back to back sets with longtime friendStevie D playing Deep house Ian decided this was the music he wanted toproduce and once returning to the uk himself and Stevie D teamed and FatFly wasborn. After 3 years of working together in clubs, various festivals and a weekly radioshow & podcast FatFly had releases on various record labels across the world butboth Ian & Stevie mutually decided they wanted to go in different directions. In 2016 SolarTrak was born and quickly after The Guest House Podcast wascreated giving SolarTrak the platform to showcase his own music as well asplaying music from his musical idols and influences.SolarTrak has now had releases on labels such as Notting Hill Records, WhereThe Hearts is (Brooklyn USA), Songspire Records (Netherlands), Sexy TrashRecords (United Kingdom), Champion Records (London UK), Let There Be HouseRecords Plus many more.In 2021 SolarTrak joined local Essex DAB Radio Station BKR Essex but inFebruary 2022 BKR Essex ceased broadcasting. He then took his New Horizonsshow to Shine 879 DAB and you can now listen to him on there every Friday 12-2pm on the Essex, North & East London & Southern Ireland DAB Platform or at www.shinedab.com.In 2024 SolarTrak joined forces with Stuart J (The Acid Brothers) and formed their alias NUCL3U5.Producing Rave - Hardcore & Jungle Influenced House Music. The biggest and best rave selection featuring 360 degrees of the harder styles!

An eclectic mix of Minimal / Tech House and Techno, from 120 bpm to 130 bpm... I started out as a bedroom DJ and continue to build on that. I aspire to one day mix in a club, for a fashion show (love the ambience of that), create a movie soundtrack and produce my own music. I have dance music knowledge of some 20 years' and I love all genres of house music. I find myself in the Tech House category but can hop from Techno to Tech House to Minimal. With each mix that I create I am often inspired by a theme, a piece of art, a photograph, a moment, an emotion and like in the Fractals mixes I based the theory of the mix on Fractals which are complex patterns that are similar across different scales and I tried to implement that in the sounds and choice of tracks. I love the creativity part of selecting the tracks and constructing a mix. On the other hand, the mixes can be full of the songs that move me from a club night, I have visited all the best clubs in the world and take a lot of inspiration from those memories including Trade and DTPM which were two of the best clubs of the 90's and 00's. I am also interested in transforming the music mixes I create into visual art like videos. I am building my mixing skills slowly so this is my journey, this is my sound, things can only get better. Thank you for listening to me and the music… Tech house and techno are both genres of electronic dance music that have their roots in the underground club scene. Tech house is a fusion of techno and house music, with a focus on intricate melodies, deep basslines, and groovy percussion. The tempo of tech house music is usually around 125-130 beats per minute, and it often incorporates elements of funk, jazz, and soul. Techno, on the other hand, is characterized by its repetitive beats, driving basslines, and futuristic soundscapes. It typically features a faster tempo than tech house, with a range of 130-150 beats per minute. Techno has a more minimalistic approach to composition, with a focus on creating a hypnotic and immersive experience for the listener. Both tech house and techno have a strong following around the world, and they continue to evolve and push the boundaries of electronic music. more

Stacked full of promo's, exclusives and classics this pocast has it all, always airing on the darker side of the genres the upcoming mixsets can only be dscribed as GRITTY !! Locked tight mixing skills and track selections make this an unrivalled display of modern underground understanding!! █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌║▌║ Luke Gardiner aka Bawn Trubble has been passionately into music from an early age, and after borrowing The Prodigy's album 'Experience' and hearing the tune 'Jericho' at the age of eight years old, he had well and truly caught the bug. He bought his first set of Technics 2-2 Beltdrive Turntables and a Maplin Mixer on his 11th birthday and set off into the wide world of DJ-ing, at the time mostly influenced by Gabba and Hard Techno, and listening to the sounds of Scorpio and Producer. attending nightclubs such as The Orbit in Leeds * Turnmills London only took his passion for techno to a new level. Bawn Trubble spent most of his early musical life on the underground scene playing mostly parties and 'illegal' raves, played many gigs in and around Preston, including another residency at Fives.. Upon realising the dance music scene was lacking in Preston at the time, he began to hire small venues for his own elitist parties based around techno and drum and bass. Whilst Travelling through europe and onto Tenerife he was offer a residency sound of miniztry in Playa de las Americas, which he did for 2 years. After that, he went back to Blanes near Girona in Spain, where he got to play at the world famous Arena club alongside europes finest and also played at many no-licence raves on local beaches, farms and woodland areas for the locals. He returned to the UK and quickly became a well respected resident at Fridays @ Lava in Preston playing funky tech-house. Bawn also hosted a very popular techno radio show on Fm.fm,a global internet radio station, with a following from all over the world until its closure. Bt has guest starred on Dr Hoffmans Blindspot Podcast,Gobsmacked Records Podcast,Cuebase.fm,Mac Trax Radio International Sundays, The Wave Fm Argentina and Mastermix Italia, alongside some of the world's finest DJ's including Bas Mooy,Dj Hi-shock, Dj Warp, Paul Oakenfold,Adam Beyer,Josh Wink and David Morales, Andrew Weatherall and many more. Fm.fm also went 'on tour' all over North Uk, where Bawn was resident throughout, at a variety of different venues. His very first track 'Powersurge' was quickly signed to the rising Method Label, with the second E.p. 'Toxic Breakfast' now available via Blind Spot Music. His Third release ''Back from the Brink'' was snatched up by fnoob techno label for their first album release. He has shelved the production side of things for the moment due 2 too many other commitments and work and it wasn't possible to fit all in..,so it was a choice DJ'ING or PRODUCING .. He was always a dj before producer so the choice kinda made itself. Allan Morrow (UK) is a name which has become synonymous with the worldwide Trance community, this talented DJ & producer from the United Kingdom has spent years perfecting his production talents and in turn his music has received support from various high profile DJ's such as Armin Van Buuren, Simon Patterson & Aly & Fila amongst many more.Allan first got immersed in Electronic Dance music by a visit to the clubbing capital of the world Ibiza; a trip to the legendary Amnesia for Cream followed and really opened his eyes to the immense power of Electronic music. Mesmerised by the Turntable trickery of Deck wizard Eddie Halliwell, this was a turning point for Allan and as soon as he returned to the UK he purchased his first set of Turntables, and began to hone his musical ear by perfecting the art of DJing. Not content with playing the music he loved to spin, it wasn't long before Allan decided to set up his own home Studio and became involved in Music Production. Allan has invested several years mastering his sound and this has proven to be a valuable asset making Allan an Artist that produces 100% of his own material, without the need of Engineers or Ghost-writers, something that not many recent producers can claim today. This has lead to his productions being on credible labels such as Armada, Blackhole Recordings, Damaged Records, Kearnage Recordings, Mental Asylum Records, Tytanium Recordings, Discover & Many more!. Allan cites Paul Van Dyk, Simon Patterson, Giuseppe Ottaviani & Will Atkinson as his main influences when it comes to Production, so it comes as no surprise that Allan's sound is rooted firmly in the more energetic side of the Trance Spectrum. His productions are always aimed straight at the global Dance-floors with club shaking Kick drums, Cone rattling bass lines & a touch of acid thrown in for good measure, his signature sound is always complimented by strong melodies, full-fire Synths & Clever FX which has earned Allan many plaudits from both clubbers, DJ's & Producers around the world. With a discography that most producers can only dream of, the future is looking promising for Allan, one of the Nu-Breed Trance producers really making an impact on the modern day Electronic music scene. more

After listening to many DJs such as Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Graham Gold on radio stations throughout the summer, he finally decided it was time to have a go!Soon after receiving his first set of decks for Christmas, a shiny pair of Plastic Numark Belt Driven turntables with a mini 2 Channel Mixer, he quickly started the learning curve of teaching himself the basics. During this period he started producing demo tapes for his school friends!Tom entered a competition in his local town centre, he played out to a strong crowd of 500 happy shoppers at 11am on a warm saturday morning. He was to perform on Technics 1200's and a Technics Battle Mixer! Quite a step up in the world from his plastic belt drives i'm sure you'll agree, something which would prove to be a problem! Time for a new set of decks sprung to mind, a further 3 infact!Creamfields 2003 certainly opened young Tom's eyes to the clubbing culture that he had to be a part of! The Nukleuz and Frantic Hard House Arena started off his love for Hard House. With this in mind he joined clubithard.com and worked with a night known as YUM YUM In Liverpool. After a while in Liverpool, Tom continued to play Funky and Hard House with Inspiration Promotions in Warrington @ such venues such as FX, Tiger Too, and with his own hard dance brand and events: Certified: Hard House.New Hard Dance events sprung up around Manchester, many of which Tom was involved with, such as TuiTion, Wobble just to name a couple along with his own Hard Dance brand 'Certified'There was also a one off event in Warrington with Certfied dance brand 'Alternation', at WA1 (before it was due to close) spanning two floors with over 12 DJs!in 2008 Tom won a Ministry of Sound DJ Competition at Pure Nightclub, Manchester. Since then Tom has been a Ministry of Sound resident, along with djing for Miss Money Pennies and Clubland too!By 2009, Tom was DJ'ing 4 nights per week, and most Fridays and Saturday nights playing at sometimes 3 gigs per night across the North West! These places include Baa Bar, Pure Manchester, Funky Box, AXM, and Tiger Tiger!2009 was also the year Tom helped the owners of Funky Box Warrington kickstart its first 6 months, with so much success he stayed on until December 2010 as Promoter and Resident DJ.2011 seen Tom try a new challenge, and so January he started at Venue Warrington with his new residency every Friday! After 12 months Fridays were very busy!Tom has played a varying collection of genres from Hard House to House/Deep House and Bass/Electro - of which he still plays today!20 Years on, Tom Taylor is still DJ'ing, Mixing and now Live Streaming, and you can listen to his House Show 'Sat Night Mixup' every Saturday here on Soundcloud, Podcasts and your favourite radio station!Tom@tom_taylortomtaylor.dj - twitter.com/tom_taylor - tommytaylor.co.uk more
