One of my proudest career moments came in 2015 when I was named one of Exceptional Parent Magazine's Teacher of the Year.I value providing exceptional educational services and believe that education should serve a higher purpose than to 'pass a test.' Education, even at a young age, should prepare our kids for success in life (not just school). If you remember one thing about me, remember this - I value using the right tools for each learner's need because I value each learner individually.Having spent much of my career teaching neurodivergent learners virtually, I have mastered rapport-building, specific teaching strategies, and family communication designed to produce the most effective outcome for your child. The remote setting allows me to teach and support students despite their geographic location. I provide intervention and coaching no matter the distance, bridging the gap nationwide.With an emphasis on relationship-building, I employ systematic research-based intervention strategies such as Orton Gillingham. There is a huge connection between executive function skill development and areas of concern in academic and life functions.
