Earth Gardens was established in 1985 to provide a flexible, supportive and therapeutic working environment for people living with disabilities or addictions. Situated on five acres in a peaceful setting, participants at Earth Gardens can gain skills in the areas of Lifeskills, Garden, Maintenance and Hospitality. Earth Gardens empowers people living with a disability to maximize their recovery and life opportunities, thus easing the transition back into the community. more

We do not separate faith and living, and so have kept faith aspects together with the many topics of family, social, health and general life. SkillWise on Air is a show made by and for the clients at SkillWise. The show airs on the last Thursday of every month at midday and features SkillWise news and events as well as stories, music, reviews and jokes. SkillWise (SPAN Chartiable Trust) is an organisation that facilitates work and education opportunities for people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The aim is to provide a choice of stimulating opportunities for people with an intellectual disability in order to participate and be accepted in the wider community. The role of staff is to provide learning opportunities, assistance and support for clients to achieve their goals. SkillWise is committed to 'bridging the gap for people with disabilities'.
