Irrupciones en el MAC es un espacio de conversación que profundiza en los cruces entre arte, ciencia, tecnología y sociedad producido por MediaMAC/Anilla, unidad del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de la Universidad de Chile especializada en la producción artística con nuevos medios a partir de un enfoque interdisciplinar. A través de un diálogo multifocal y distendido buscamos reflexionar sobre las transformaciones que las crisis sociopolíticas y culturales, en pleno desarrollo, están implicando para la producción artística con tecnologías, la expansión de los lenguajes artísticos, sus prácticas y formatos, así como tensiones en torno a las nociones de territorios, cuerpo, afectividad, naturaleza, post humanismos, entre otras exploraciones propias de este campo híbrido y multifacético. Su objetivo es constituirse es una plataforma reflexiva sobre la actualidad de las artes mediales y el cambio cultural en el que ellas participan tanto para la producción, como para la circulación, archivo, investigación y acervo.También se propone rescatar el espíritu y la experiencia anterior del museo, cuando entre 1999 y 2004 mantuvo al aire semanalmente el programa Irrupciones. Artes visuales en la radio, transmitido por Radio Universidad de Chile. Vincular, desde la actualización de la memoria, ambas iniciativas permite trazar un arco histórico del MAC de los últimos 20 años. more
