13. The Shidduch Scoop with Mama Rochel
🎙️ The Shidduch Scoop with Mama Rochel Your inside look at the Jewish dating world Welcome to The
Shidduch Scoop with Mama Rochel, the honest, heartfelt, and deeply insightful Jewish matchmaking podcast that finally says out loud what everyone is thinking about the shidduch system — and what singles truly need to hear. Hosted by Mama Rochel — Rochelle Kipnis — a world-renowned, highly sought-after Jewish matchmaker whose reputation spans communities across the globe. Over the last 28 years, she has made over 100 shidduchim and facilitated thousands of matches, all while refusing to take a single dollar. Every match she works on is pure chesed, fueled by her devotion to helping Klal Yisrael — and her unwavering belief that true success comes only from Hashem. Rebbes, Rabbanim, teachers, and community leaders constantly reach out to her for help with their students. Families fly in, drive hours, or wait months just to receive a bracha, guidance, or a moment of clarity. For many, speaking with Mama Rochel feels like opening a door to siyata d'shmaya — because time and time again, when she is involved, things fall into place in ways no one can explain except as Hashem's Hand. Her largest and most active group is 20-something singles who want to date with intention and find their bashert with clarity from the start. She is also known for helping older singles find deep, meaningful, lasting connections — often in situations where others have long given up. Despite her global reputation, Mama Rochel lives quietly on a horse farm in New Jersey, where she is a devoted wife and mother of three. She is married to Daryl Kipnis, a well-known attorney who ran for New Jersey State Senate and the United States Congress. Together, they are beloved in their community. Her peaceful home life, spiritual grounding, and strong family values give her a rare and deeply authentic perspective rooted in emunah. From time to time, her two daughters join the show, offering their own thoughtful input, fresh perspectives, and heartfelt discussion — adding a multigenerational dimension to the conversations that singles deeply appreciate. After decades of receiving thousands of messages every week — far more than any one person can address — Mama Rochel created The Shidduch Scoop so she could finally reach every Jewish neshama seeking guidance, clarity, or a dose of truth in the dating world. Each episode dives into: The biggest mistakes singles make What truly matters vs. what the community obsesses over How to recognize your bashert Resume madness, age gaps, and unrealistic expectations Red flags, green flags, and everything in between Dating with Torah values and genuine emunah Behind-the-scenes truths about the Jewish dating world No filters. No judgment. Just real talk, deep wisdom, and powerful clarity from someone who has helped build countless Jewish homes — with humility, sincerity, and a constant awareness that Hashem is the One making every match. If you're ready for clarity, confidence, and the real truth about Jewish dating, you're in the right place. Your bashert might not be in this episode… but the guidance you need absolutely is. (There's a WhatsApp group called Mama Rochel Shidduchim that's highly selective and open for singles and their parents who are seeking matches).
