This is a daily shiur after morning services and is roughly 15-25 minutes each weekday.The Nevi'im (נְבִיאִים) is the second major book of the Tanach, between the Torah (instruction) and Ketuvim (writings). The Nevi'im are divided into two groups. The Nevi'im Rishonim (First Prophets) consists of the narrative books of Yehoshua, Shoftim, Shmuel Aleph, Shmuel Bet, Melachim Aleph and Melachim Bet; while the Nevi'im Acharonim (Latter Prophets) include the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the Twelve Minor Prophets. more

Rabbi Louis Ginzberg was one of the outstanding Talmudists of the twentieth century. He was born on November 28, 1873, in Kovno, Lithuania; he died on November 11, 1953, in New York City. Ginzberg taught at the Jewish Theological seminary from 1903 to 1953.
