Edouard Bard est professeur titulaire de la chaire Évolution du climat et de l'océan du Collège de France et son laboratoire est situé à Aix-en-Provence (CEREGE, UMR Aix-Marseille Université, CNRS, IRD, INRAE, Collège de France).Ingénieur-géologue de l'ENSG de Nancy, il prépare sa thèse au CEA de Gif-sur-Yvette et soutient son doctorat en 1987 à l'université Paris-Saclay. Il effectue ensuite ses recherches au Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory de l'université Columbia à New York (Postdoctoral Fellow puis Associate Research Scientist). Il revient en France en 1990, d'abord au CEA de Gif-sur-Yvette puis commence à enseigner en 1991 comme professeur à l'université d'Aix-Marseille et au Collège de France depuis 2001. more

Our Road to Walk: Then and Now is a podcast series hosted by Deborah and Ken Ferruccio broadcast from Warren County, North Carolina, known as the birthplace of the environmental justice movement. The history of water in the West has been shaped by conflict, greed, and scarcity, but in a remote pocket of Southern Oregon and Northern California, a different Western water story is taking shape. The largest dam removal in history is on the verge of completion on the Klamath River. This moment is the result of a historic decades-long Tribally-led campaign to free the Klamath River and restore salmon and steelhead populations, which are core to Native traditions and foodways. This is a huge triumph. Today the river is a living thread that connects communities who each have their own version of the Klamath, and all of these communities will have to work together to reimagine what this watershed could look like as the river they all rely on transforms.
